Dress Code
Uniforms
The girls at Laurelcrest wear uniforms that consist of a burgundy plaid jumper or skirt with a round-collared blouse. The basic outfit is worn on field trips (unless otherwise indicated) and to formal events such as Promotion Day.
In addition to this basic outfit, students may select from these other options:
Gray slacks or shorts
White or burgundy polo shirts
Burgundy sweater vests
White or burgundy turtlenecks
Gray sweats
Requirements
Students must wear only school uniform items to school unless it is a special "free dress" day. These are announced. Upper-grade students must wear burgundy privacy shorts and a gray t-shirt or sweats for PE. All students must wear plain white, gray, or burgundy socks. Students must wear close-toed shoes. The shoes may be solid colors of white, black, gray or burgundy. Hair decorations need to be uniform colors, with nothing overly frilly or dramatic.
Uniform Vendors
Vicky Marsha--this is the only vendor that carries the Laurelcrest plaid. Plaid jumpers, skirts, and skorts must all be purchased at Vicky Marsha. Many other items are also available. Download Vicky Marsha map and return/exchange policy [pdf].
Lands End--carries a variety of everyday uniform clothing, such as polo shirts, sweaters, gray chino pants and shorts, and sweats. This is the only place to get the Laurelcrest logo on polos and sweaters. Search their online catalog by clicking on the link below.
French Toast--carries a variety of everyday uniform clothing.
You can often purchase used uniform items at our "swap" sales, usually held on campus before Back-to-School Night and Promotion Day.
Soccer City--carries sweatshirts and sweatpants embroidered with the Laurelcrest logo. Download an order form. [pdf]
